Here you will always find the American flag

waving and the American eagle flying.

Flowers are those little colorful beacons of the sun from

which we get sunshine when dark, somber

skies blanket our thoughts.

Today I include two kitties from a subscriber.

Thank you to Dee for sharing.

Dee reports Cole (above) is a total love bug and has an addiction to just

about anything paper. He loves paper... steals it, carries it, and will hide

it. He will even crawl into her purse to find receipts. Dee describes him

as her sweet funny boy. Meanwhile below is Abby, Cole's companion. She

is the queen of their house, even over their Labs. Abby has fur soft as a

bunny, eyes as blue as the sky and a very special purr just for Dee.

How fancy is this way to transport beer?!

This one will surely stay warm! How cute!!

Learn the blessedness of the un-offended in

the face of the un-explainable.

Whether we are poets or parents or teachers or

artists or gardeners, we must start where we

are and use what we have. In the process of

creation and relationship, what seems mundane and

trivial may show itself to be holy, and a

part of a pattern.

~*~ Luci Shaw

Faith is the virtue of the storm, just as

happiness is the virtue of sunshine.

Left-over candy canes?

CRUSH THEM!

Peppermint hot fudge sundaes: Use peppermint ice cream

purchased from the store. Crush the candy canes and

sprinkle on top after pouring the hot fudge on top.

Brownies: Bake as directed and sprinkle the crushed

candy canes on top instead of icing.

Suggestion: With Valentine's day approaching,

this would be a good idea as well for entertaining.

Photos of everyone, of everything

should be handled with care.

They are indeed priceless.

Another snow day.

I love mittens.

OOO! How cute!

Abandoned and the snow made itself at home here.

And boy does this make me think of Spring. Mr or Mrs

Robin making themselves at home on this old

lawn mower. The flower of course has to be Morning Glories?

Oh my! How bout this chocolate fix? And the center

sure looks like peanut butter. A slice of heaven for

sure and a overload of calories no doubt.

     You took the time,

thank you!

Almost the weekend! Snow and very cold temps here

in Ohio. Longing for Spring.  Have a good one.

Now, till another time, be safe in

all you do. Be aware of everything and

everyone around you at all times. A

very good habit .... take care!
